OUR PURPOSE

          The Research, Development and Technical Employees’ Union represents the Technicians, Machinists and other service workers who help create and maintain the technical and service infrastructure at MIT, Draper Lab and Lincoln Laboratory. Our members make components for research projects, train students in the safe use of shop and lab equipment and help support scientific investigation. This year we celebrate our 49th anniversary of certification. During these forty-nine years our Union has been an effective force protecting jobs, increasing wages and benefits and creating a safer workplace for our members.
